Official UPSC Photo and Signature Guidelines

Under official Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) rules, applicant photos and signatures must satisfy strict constraints. The photo must be a square aspect ratio (1:1), with dimensions between 350x350 pixels and 1000x1000 pixels. The file size must sit between 20KB and 300KB.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENT (NEW RULES):

The candidate's photograph must be taken not more than 10 days before the start of the online application process. The Candidate's Name and the Date the photograph was taken must be printed clearly at the bottom of the photo.
