How It Works

Extract PDF Pages into Standard Images Privately

Converting PDF pages into individual images (JPG/PNG/WEBP) is ideal when you need to submit pages as photo uploads on registration forms, extract photos embedded inside PDFs, or share individual pages without sharing the entire document. Utilizing browser-based rendering protects your document files from public leaks.

Local Page Rendering

This converter reads your PDF binary structure directly in your browser using pdf.js. The script draws each page onto an HTML5 canvas element at a chosen DPI scale. The output is then compiled into image formats inside your device memory. No files are uploaded to any server.

Resolution Guidelines

  • Standard (96 DPI): Best for quick conversions and fast downloads. Images are lightweight but may look pixelated when zoomed in.
  • Medium (150 DPI): The ideal balance of resolution and file size. Text remains legible, suitable for most registration forms.
  • High (300 DPI): High-definition print resolution. Perfect for documents containing fine details, graphics, or small fonts.

ZIP Archive Downloads

Converting a multi-page PDF renders multiple files. To prevent cluttering your downloads folder, our tool automatically bundles the converted page images into a single structured ZIP file named after your original document.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my sensitive documents uploaded to your servers?

No. We do not operate server-side processing for any PDF tools. All conversion tasks run directly in your local browser window. You can even disconnect from the internet after loading the page and the tool will still convert your files.

What format is recommended for scanned PDFs?

If you are converting pages containing text scans or signatures, we recommend using the **PNG** format at **150 DPI**. PNG maintains text crispness without the artifacts often seen in JPG compression.

Can I convert encrypted or secured PDFs?

No. Standard security specifications prevent client-side script libraries from reading page details of password-restricted PDFs. You must remove the password security lock before uploading the file.
